Letter of Authorization (LOA)

The Second Step of the process is to Fill out “Letter of Authorization” (LOA) found here and send a recent copy of your electric bill and fax ,mail or e-mail them back to us. We will begin the shopping process for you right away!

Why should you fill out an LOA (Letter of Authorization)?

• In order to receive offers for electricity, suppliers need to know what your load profile (how you use energy) looks like. The LOA provides a complete overview of your facilities energy usage patterns.

• The LOA does NOT commit you to any contract; it is simply an authorization for D & D Energy Solutions to receive records of your usage history and energy consumption on your behalf.

• Once you sign and fax the LOA back to D & D Energy Solutions, we immediately send the LOA to your local utility for processing (this usually takes 2 days).

• The utility will send us your load profile electronically, which begins the process of selecting the best supplier for you.

• We have supplier agreements with QUALIFIED suppliers (based on reliability, financial stability, competitive pricing, experience and customer service history) throughout the state of Texas.

• We send out your load profile to our suppliers, while negotiating terms & conditions relative to your needs.

• Once we receive the offers, we will provide you with several choices as well as our recommendations.

• From the point you select a supplier to an actual start date with that new supplier usually takes 60-75 days. • D & D Energy Solutions will keep you informed all along the way.

• D & D Energy Solutions will provide you with quarterly “value statements” as well as “energy saving opportunity alerts”.
