The History

Marcie and Bob Zlotnik founded Startex Power in 2004. Marcie has extensive experience working with deregulated industries and served as President and Director of Gexa Energy , a retail electricity provider she co-founded in 2001. Bob comes from a diverse business background having served as either a Chief Executive Officer or Chief Financial Officer of three service related companies and is a Certified Public Accountant. Together , they used thier vast experiences to start a company in the deregulated retail electricity market.

Startex Power has grown exponentially since its inception in 2004 and is one of the fastest growing businesses in Texas. The reason for Startex Power's remarkable growth is simple- a focus on the customer's experience , demonstrated by transparency , convenience , gratitude and friendly people to talk to if the need arises.
